What You’ll Do:
Write and report on parliamentary activities from your region
Cover legislative sessions, debates, and policy decisions
Interview parliamentarians andgovernment officials

Requirements:
Strong understanding of parliamentary systems
Proven writing or journalism experience
Knowledge of local and international politics
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Commitment: Flexible (5–10 articles per month)
🌏 Continent Coordinators
Focus: Parliaments & Democracy & Policy
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate contributions from parliamentarians and writers across your continent
Oversee content quality and consistency for your region
Build partnerships with parliamentary groups and think tanks
Represent IPJ at continental parliamentary forums and events
Requirements:
5+ years experience in parliamentary affairs, policy, or political journalism
Established network with parliamentarians or policymakers
Strong leadership and communication skills
Residency in or deep knowledge of the assigned continent
Commitment: Full-time or Part-time (20–40 hours/week)
IPJ Country Leads
Focus: Country-Specific Parliamentary Coverage
What You’ll Do:
Lead IPJ’s parliamentary reporting for your country
Manage local contributors and content creators
Ensure accurate and timely coverage of parliamentary events
Build relationships with national parliament officials and MPs
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of your country’s parliamentary system
Experience in journalism, policy analysis, or political research
Strong networking skills within government/parliament
Fluency in local language and English
Commitment: Part-time (10–20 hours/week)
📚 Democracy Subject Experts / Writers / Thinkers
Focus: Democracy, Governance, Policy Analysis
What You’ll Do:
Write expert articles on democracy, governance, and policy
Provide analytical insights on parliamentary reforms
Contribute to IPJ’s research publications and white papers
Participate in IPJ’s expert advisory network
Requirements:
Advanced degree in Political Science, Law, Public Policy, or related field
Published work on democracy, governance, or policy
Thought leadership in your area of expertise
Ability to write clearly for diverse audiences
Commitment: Flexible (3–5 articles per quarter)
📰 Parliament Reporting Contributors
Focus: On-the-Ground Parliamentary Journalism
What You’ll Do:
Report live from parliamentary sessions and debates
Create written, photo, and video content from parliament
Interview MPs, ministers, and parliamentary staff
Produce timely news coverage of legislative developments
Requirements:
Journalism experience or strong reporting background
Access to parliamentary facilities (if applicable)
Ability to work under pressure and deliver quickly
Multimedia skills (writing, photography, video) preferred
Commitment: Flexible (event-based or 5–8 reports per month)
🏛️ Parliament Affairs Policy Analysts
Focus: Policy Analysis & Legislative Research
What You’ll Do:
Analyze proposed legislation and policy proposals
Research parliamentary procedures and reforms
Produce policy briefs and analytical reports
Support IPJ’s research initiatives on parliamentary best practices
Requirements:
Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or related field
3+ years experience in policy analysis or legislative research
Strong analytical and research skills
Ability to translate complex policy into clear insights
Commitment: Part-time or Contract (15–30 hours/week)
💼 Global Economy Experts / Analysts
Focus: Economic Policy & Global Markets
What You’ll Do:
Analyze economic policies shaped by parliamentary decisions
Report on global economic trends and their legislative impact
Write expert commentary on fiscal, monetary, and trade policies
Collaborate with parliament affairs analysts on policy intersections
Requirements:
Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, or related field
Experience in economic analysis or financial journalism
Knowledge of international economic systems
Strong writing and analytical skills
Commitment: Flexible (4–6 articles per quarter)
🏢 Corporate Business Analysts
Focus: Corporate Policy Engagement & MNC Relations
What You’ll Do:
Analyze how parliamentary decisions impact corporate sectors
Report on MNC relations with policy makers

Support IPJ’s initiative to help corporations voice concerns to policy makers

Background in business, corporate strategy, or public affairs
Understanding of corporate-government relations
