Milton Dick, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Australia, has been elected the 32nd President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). The election was held at the 153rd IPU Assembly in Arusha, United Republic of Tanzania.
Voting was held on Monday, November 10, in the first phase of Egypt’s 2025 parliamentary elections. It was conducted under tight security and strict administrative oversight. According to the National Elections Authority (NEA), more than 35 million voters were registered across 14 governorates, including Giza, Alexandria, Fayoum, Minya, Luxor, and Aswan.
