NATO Parliamentary Assembly President Marcos Perestrello and Secretary General Benedetta Berti attended the Bucha Summit held on 31 March 2026 in Ukraine. The gathering, chaired by the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk, brought together Speakers and Deputy Speakers of Parliaments, as well as presidents of international parliamentary assemblies. The Summit was also attended by the leadership of Ukraine,  including President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
