The Winter Session of the Indian Parliament has been officially approved by President Droupadi Murmu. The session will be held from December 1 to December 19, 2025. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju announced this decision on social media platform X.
On the eve of his 90th birthday, the 14th Dalai Lama made a landmark announcement. Speaking from Dharamshala, India, he confirmed that the institution of the Dalai Lama will continue after him. He declared that only the Gaden Phodrang Trust, which he established in 2011, will have the authority to select his successor.
